Last year for Valentine's day, we made Husband Chocolate covered pretzels. I waited until now to share the photos and directions; so you too could make them, this year, if you wanted....
What you'll need:
2 Bags White Chocolate Chips/Chunks {I got mine from whole foods}
1 Bag Mini Pretzel Twists
Red Food Coloring {I splurged and got the fancy natural set for this project}
Using a metal bowl over a pot with boiling water {DIY Broiler}, melt the chocolate while stirring.
Add a few drops of red food coloring, until the desired color pink is accomplished.
Dip and set to dry on a sheet of wax paper, to speed up the drying process, place in the freezer for a few minutes.
My little helper.
Some mornings we don't get dressed ;)
Once completely dry/hardened, remove from parchment paper and place in pretty bowl of your choice. Don't eat them all at once!
Happy Valentine's Day Snacking!
Jenn
